ACCOUNT DELETION

Parallax Interactive, LLC provides two ways to delete your Are You Fluent? account and associated app data.
Delete In The App
- Open Are You Fluent?
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion prompt.
Request Deletion Outside The App
Email help@prllxlabs.com with the subject "Are You Fluent account deletion". Include the Google or Apple email linked to your account if you linked one.
Data Deleted
- Account identity and authentication sessions
- Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple link, email, and display name, if provided
- Language progress, daily progress, streak data, cards, coins, content reports, and settings
- Device notification tokens, app installation identifiers stored on our servers, and notification history
Data Retained
We may retain limited records only when required for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, backup integrity, or to document that your deletion request was completed. Retained records are not used to provide an active account.
- Deletion request emails and completion records may be retained for up to 90 days.
- Operational logs may retain limited identifiers for up to 90 days.
- Encrypted database backups may contain deleted data until they expire, no longer than 7 days.
- Aggregated or anonymized operational metrics that no longer identify you may be kept.
Timing
In-app deletion removes active account data immediately. Email requests are reviewed and processed within 30 days. Any retained records expire according to the retention periods listed above.
